Not a generalist who "also works with" tattoo artists. A CPA who's been under the needle long enough to understand your world — and qualified enough to transform your business.

I'm Justin Davis — a licensed CPA with over 100 hours under the needle. At this point, I'm running out of real estate. I've spent enough time in the chair to understand what tattoo artists go through on a daily basis — the physical toll, the creative energy, the business pressures that never seem to stop even when the machine does.
Those hours gave me something you can't learn in a textbook: real empathy for what this career demands. I've heard the conversations during long sessions — about slow months, about clients who ghost on deposits, about whether it's worth opening a second location, about what's actually left over after booth rent, supplies, and taxes. I don't need you to translate your business for me. I already speak the language.
But relatability without competence is just a good conversation. On the professional side, I hold a CPA license, earned both a B.S. and M.S. in Accounting, and have deep experience across tax strategy, bookkeeping systems, and financial advisory. I chose to focus this entire firm on one industry — tattoo artists and shop owners — because I believe you deserve a financial partner who's both fully qualified and genuinely understands your world.
Most accountants are reactive. They show up at tax time, file a return, and disappear. That's not what I do. I lead with bookkeeping and financial visibility because I've seen firsthand that every business decision you make — pricing, hiring, expanding, paying yourself — depends on the accuracy of your numbers.
The tattoo industry is a $1.3 billion market with over 23,000 businesses in the U.S. alone — and yet most of these artists and shop owners are underserved when it comes to real financial guidance. I built this firm to change that. Premium, selective, and deeply useful — for people who are serious about building a business that actually pays them what they're worth.
"I don't just understand the numbers. I understand the life. That's the difference — and it's why this works."
These aren't just words on a wall. They're the principles that guide every client relationship, every decision, and every piece of advice.
Your finances are a trust. I treat every dollar, every decision, and every piece of data with the care and responsibility it deserves.
Good enough isn't good enough. Every deliverable, every interaction, and every strategy reflects a commitment to the highest standard.
Honest advice, even when it's hard to hear. No upselling, no shortcuts, no telling you what you want to hear instead of what you need to know.
The whole point of running a business is to build a life you love. My job is to give you the financial clarity to make that possible.
If you're a tattoo artist or shop owner who's serious about running a stronger business, I'd like to hear from you.
